UniMail is available to every currently enrolled student at
UNSW. Your UniMail account is created automatically on enrolment,
and is assigned a default address based on your Student ID Number.
All UNSW UniMail accounts have a mail quota for 20Mb.
UniMail can be accessed using any popular email client application,
such as Eudora, Outlook or Netscape Communicator. UniMail can
also be accessed using the UniMail Web Interface. The Web Interface
works in a similar way to hotmail, and can be accessed from
any PC connected to the internet, anywhere in the world.
If you prefer using another email account, but still want to
keep up date with whats happening at UNSW, you can opt to have
your UniMail forwarded to your preferred email account. This
means any email sent to your UniMail account will be forwarded
to your nominated email account.
The IT Service Desk provides support for students
and staff experiencing problems with UniMail. UniMail support
is available by visiting, phoning or emailing the IT Service Desk
during opening hours.
