to access Online Services at UNSW. Listed below are the step

Online at UNSW
As a new member of staff at UNSW,
you will be able to access a range of IT and Communications
services, designed to help you with your day to day activities.
All UNSW staff members are provided with certain IT services
as part of their employment, while some
other specialist services can be accessed depending on your
role within the University.
This guide is designed to assist new staff members with activating
their Online Accounts, and getting online as quickly as possible.
Online Services for Staff
All UNSW staff, with a UNSW ID Number, have access to the
following services, provided by IT at UNSW.
UniMail
- UNSW Electronic Mail System
UDUS
- The UNSW Dial Up Service, offering dial up access to the Internet.
UniWide
- The UNSW Campus Wide Wireless Network
UniPass-
The UNSW Universal Password System
Getting
Access to Online Services
To get access to Email and UDUS, establish a UNSW email address,
be issued with a UniPass and obtain a listing in the UNSW Online
Directory, you will need to complete the CU01
- Communications Access for New Staff form.
This form should be given to you in your new staff kit by Human
Resources. Alternatively, you can obtain this form from your
department or from this web site by clicking
here.
Once you have completed this form, you can either deliver it
in person to the IT Service Desk, on level 2 of
the UNSW Library, or fax it to IT at UNSW on 9385 1262.
Forms that are incomplete will either take longer to process
or will be returned to you to complete.
